New generation aircraft of Blue Angels



U.S. manufacturer Boeing has announced it is delivering its first Super Hornet aircraft to the U.S. Navy's aerobatics team, the Blue Angels.

The unpainted aircraft will enter the flight test and evaluation phase at Naval Air Station Patuxent River in Maryland.

While the world-famous Blue Angels have flown with Boeing aircraft for more than 50 years, so far the team has a fleet of F-4J Phantom II, a-4F Skyhawk and now the F / A-18A-D Hornet.

It will be the fourth generation aircraft of the Super Hornets team.

Boeing is scheduled to deliver 11 vehicles to Blue Angels this year.

NATİONAL COMBAT AİRCRAFT

   MMU project launched to meet the needs of the Turkish Air Force and it is aimed to produce modern airplanes designed with domestic possibilities and copabilities that can replace F-16 aircraft which are in the inventory of the TAF Command and are planned to be gradually decommissioned by the 2030s.    The project includes technologies such as low visibility, built-in weapon slot, high maneuverability, increased situational awareness and sensor fusion, which should be on a new generation aircraft.    Turkey it will be among the countries that have the infrastructure and technology to produce 5th generation of combat aircraft in the world after the United States, Russia and China.    This project, which is very important for our country, will greatly reduce our dependency on foreign technology in the coming years.

Turkey Will Produce Its Own Jet Engine

Turkey Motor General Manager Osman Dur, about 80 engineers are involved in the design of the National and domestic engine of the MMU, stating, " 2026-2027 such as the engine will provide the first start.After then the test will begin. By 2029, our National fighter jet will be flying with our domestic engine." said. He said that the platform of Turkey's National combat aircraft had started to be designed by TAI and that the "mock-up"had come out and was on display. The domestic engine works are being carried out by TAI while Turkey Motor Co. it was established by SSB and all works started to be carried out into the TR Motor system. Turkey promises to be more active in the aviation technologies market in the coming years.
